Mimi Walters represented Orange County in Congress and was the highest ranking women in the House of Representatives. She served on the important Energy and Commerce Committee and the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology; Subcommittee on Digital Commerce and Consumer Protection and the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.
Walters was elected to the House of Representatives in 2014 and reelected in 2016.

Prior to her election to the House of Representatives, Mimi represented Orange County in the State Senate and Assembly. She is a founder of the California Women’s Leadership Association (CWLA) and has served on the Boards of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the American Cancer Society, and the South Coast Medical Center Foundation. She was named one of Orange County’s 100 Most Influential of 2014 by the Orange County Register.
Mimi possesses a background in business, finance and local government. Her professional career has included serving as an investment executive for seven years at a major investment banking firm.
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Mimi and her husband, David, live in Orange County and are the parents of four children.
